President Bush has nominated anti-choice activist John Roberts to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court. As a person who values privacy and personal freedom - we urgently need your help to ensure a woman's right to choose is protected.

Throughout her tenure, Justice O'Connor was one of the "swing" votes on the Supreme Court, part of the razor-thin majority that has kept Roe v. Wade from being dismantled. But this slim majority is now in grave danger. If Roberts is confirmed to a lifetime appointment, there is little doubt that he will work to overturn Roe v. Wade. As Deputy Solicitor General under the President George H.W. Bush, he argued before the Supreme Court that "Roe was wrongly decided and should be overruled."

It's time for pro-choice Americans to fight back. Tell President Bush that you firmly oppose his nomination of the anti-choice conservative John Roberts to the Supreme Court, then spread the word to your pro-choice friends and family.
