THEFTS AND RAIDS ON HOMELESS VETS MUST STOP

CVA recently learned that a taxpayer funded organization known as
Keep Colorado Springs Beautiful, has been ransacking the camps of
homeless veterans and confiscating and destroying personal
property including identification documents, VA paperwork,
photographs and in some cases service medals.

  • Colorado Springs Gazette covered our press conference. Read
    about it here
  • CVA was on KRDO last night with our case for the veterans.
    Watch it here.

  • Earlier this month, the Gazette published a piece critical of the
homeless raids. That story is here.
  • Additional coverage of these raids can be found on the
    NewSpeakBlog.
  • Email Deborah Cunningham, the Executive Director of Keep
Colorado Springs Beautiful to tell her to stop these ruthless

  • Contact our Mayor and City Council Members to tell them you
don't want your tax dollars supporting an organization that
    hurts homeless veterans.
