After Esther is pushed to the ground, her arm is twisted behind her for punishment, (given the assumption of guilt) as Marie and Patty try to talk sense into a senseless, violent, abuser of authority named Erwin Paladino. Notice the traumatized children all around, that will fear cops and people in uniform for the rest of their lives.
The trauma to these children is one of the worse things about this behavior. It may surprise some to know, but I think the fear they will have towards cops is a bad thing too. I've known dedicated public servants in uniform that would never act like this, and I hate to see children being taught not to trust them, or to be afraid of them. I also hate to see their uniforms soiled by the bahavior of a few that have yet to earn the badge.
