The BookMobile, with permit in the window arrives. The parade official that has been claiming we have no permit and called the cops based on his mistake, gets on the phone, hopefully to someone with answers, but dials O'Donnell with the bad news that we do have a permit. The other parade official has yet to check the parade roster in his hand to to see if we do in fact have a permit. When he later checks it and finds we are on the roster, then he says the permit is revoked. No chance to put banners, away, and comply with his narrow and politically based rule on "social messages", but just get out.
